International Photography Festival Bialystok INTERPHOTO 2017, supporting the very important initiative of the Youth Cultural Center in Bialystok, is pleased to include the post-competition exhibition of the 18th OWFD in the program of this year's edition.<br><br> Międzynarodowy Festiwal fotografii Białystok INTERPHOTO 2017 wspierając niezwykle ważną inicjatywę Młodzieżowego Domu Kultury w Białymstoku z przyjemnością włącza wystawę pokonkursową XVIII OWFDziM do programu tegorocznej edycji.
18th National Exhibition of Photography by Children and Young Adults, Bialystok 2017 - post-competition exhibition
The National Exhibition of Photography by Children and Young Adults has been organized since 1985 by the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury in Bialystok. As the most important event of this kind in Poland, it brings together the largest number of young photographers. In the years 1985-1989 the competition was held every year, and since 1993, ie starting with the 6th edition, the event has been organized every two years. From the very beginning the competition has been held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of National Education. The competition is accompanied by workshops, photo shoots and meetings with photographers; 2723 photographs by 673 authors from 165 institutions were sent to the 18th Exhibition. Out of these the jury chose 214 photographs by 134 authors for the exhibition.

Ogólnopolska Wystawa Fotografii Dzieci i Młodzieży Białystok 2017 - wystawa pokonkursowa
Ogólnopolska Wystawa Fotografii Dzieci i Młodzieży organizowana jest od 1985 roku w Młodzieżowym Domu Kultury w Białymstoku. Jest to najważniejsza impreza tego typu w kraju, zrzeszająca największą liczbę fotografującej młodzieży. W latach 1985-1989 konkurs odbywał się co roku, a od 1993 roku, tj. od VI edycji, impreza organizowana jest w cyklu dwuletnim. Od samego początku, konkurs objęty jest honorowym patronatem Ministra Edukacji Narodowej. Konkursowi towarzyszą warsztaty i plenery fotograficzne oraz spotkania z artystami fotografikami; Na XVIII Wystawę nadesłano 2723 zdjęcia 673 autorów, ze 165 placówek. Do wystawy jury zakwalifikowało 214 zdjęć 134 autorów.
