"Femininity is the harmony between soul and body that creates unity." - Susan Sontag
Over the twelve years of its existence, Leica Gallery Warsaw has gathered impressive artistic art, which has the honor and pleasure of representing and using. The collection includes elements classified as broadly understood artistic photography, but also reportage, street and travel photos. The number of photographs is so large that it is difficult to detect one representative work for each artist for one exhibition. From this collection of capacitive photographs generated, the central motif of which is a woman. The exhibition "Leica is a woman" presents the works of many artists and artists, characterized by a very characteristic style and presentation of photography. These are not solutions that do not constitute a single project, but together they create a mosaic of images providing beauty, the strength and diversity of the female world. Among them are portraits, nudes, but also works from the genre of "staged photography", reportage, collage and even still life. Each photo is a separate story, records of moments and effects captured in the frame by an insightful photographer. The work is unique and limited. This diversity is the greatest strength of this exhibition. Because femininity does not have one version and is not limited to one pattern. Each of us interprets the concept in our own way. Femininity is strength, empathy and independence, and at the same time tenderness, sensitivity and delicacy. It is awareness and acceptance of one's own body and sexuality, care for one's appearance and inner well-being, beauty, fire and passion. It is a constantly changing landscape of experiences and experiences. All these attributes of femininity are visible in the photographs presented at the exhibition.
